Bali is home to some of the best coworking spaces for digital nomads. Not only are you on a beautiful island with stunning beaches, and incredible food and culture, but Bali's coworking spaces are also fully equipped with high-speed wifi, ergonomic workstations, spacious meeting rooms, and so much more.
There's everything to get your work done and relax between breaks. Not to mention these are great places to network and meet new people.
The average price for coworking spaces in Bali is between 3 and 20 USD per day. However, the price also varies depending on the region. The most affordable areas include destinations less frequented by tourists, such as Sanur and Denpasar.
Meanwhile, the most expensive areas include Ubud, Seminyak and Kuta. Within the region, you will find cheaper coworking spaces near the airport. Generally, coworking spaces near beachfronts are more costly. However, they also come with gorgeous views and luxurious amenities.
While we were based in Bali, we did our own research and visited a handful of these shared working areas. We've selected the top 15 coworking spaces based on their opening hours, wifi speed, and ambience. In addition, we gave these bonus points if we liked their coffee and the unique amenities.
So, if you're wondering where is the best coworking space in Bali, carry on reading.

Best Coworking Space in Bali, Canggu
Bali coworking spaces in Canggu are ideal for digital nomads who live by the motto "Work hard, play harder". We think that the trendy coastal village is perfect if you want a location that's still lively but not too party-centric, like Kuta.
Echo Beach, a popular surf spot, beckons for relaxation. Or you can always visit some of the beach bars and delicious brunch spots nearby. Because of its laid-back vibe, it's a great place if you're looking for a community. Comparing other locations in Bali that we went to, Canggu had the largest congregation of digital nomads.
The average price for coworking space in Canggu is around $10 USD per day. There are many great options, but we love Dojo in particular. Dojo provides an excellent environment for freelancers and startup founders since it hosts plenty of self-improvement workshops.
Tropical Nomad
Tropical Nomad Coworking space in Bali, Canggu is right by a famous Canggu shortcut. The shortcut was built by two villages, Desa Canggu and Desa Tibubeneng, to gain access to Jalan Nelayan. Working here gives you a beautiful view of lush green rice fields in an air-conditioned coworking space.
Indoors, the contemporary office is equally calming. The white walls and high ceiling give off a relaxing vibe. However, if you want more privacy, the upstairs area offers plenty of solitude. If you need a screen break, head for the outdoor balcony that overlooks some of Canggu's rice fields.
There are also plenty of office facilities, including a meeting room, Skype booth, mail services and a printer and scanner. You can choose from hourly, daily and unlimited coworking memberships. The place is open 24 hours, but the quietest time is 3 pm at noon or after midnight if you prefer to work in peace.
We also liked the rotating free events that are hosted at this spot. While we were there, we attended a few talks. These were specific to digital nomads and entrepreneurs in Bali. One of these talks was on how to move to Bali and redevelop land in the area. We loved how these events were filled with nomads from all over the world and hearing about their stories.

Dojo
Dojo Bali coworking space is the first ever of its kind to be built in Canggu. So, it comes up often when you ask digital nomads where the best coworking space in Bali is for them. The place offers a cosy, homely atmosphere.
You get to work in a two-storey villa a few steps away from Echo Beach, with an airy indoor coworking space with a swimming pool view. There's also a lush garden that surrounds the estate. This was a nice reminder to take a screen break. You can also rent its air-conditioned conference rooms and private skype booths here.
The day pass gives you access to all that, and other amenities include private nooks for hot desking, hot shower rooms and a cafe that sells delicious Nalu Bowls.
Plus, they're active in holding many self-improvement workshops, such as Bahasa Indonesian courses and public speaking classes. There's also co-living accommodation just down the road.
For budget-conscious travellers, you can purchase its monthly or annual memberships. Alternatively, you can also try their accommodation-inclusive packages.

ZIN@WORK CO-WORKING
If you're looking to try out Bali's coworking space for free, head to Zin@Work in Canggu. It's less than 15 minutes away from Nelayan Beach. Perfect if you want to get some surfing in between breaks.
Zin is well known as one of the main coworking hubs in Canggu, and it's entirely free to use. You will have free access to their open-plan bamboo floor and an air-conditioned focus room. Most people who are working in this section prefer total silence.
As it's right next to Zin Cafe, you can also benefit from the delicious food options and great coffee. Zin has its own coffee roastery, so they offer a range of speciality coffee which will keep you fueled throughout the day.
As this is a free coworking hub in Canggu, it can get very crowded. You can try your luck at ZinCafe next door if it is crowded when you go. It's equally nice with better natural light.

Genesis Creative Centre
Genesis Creative Centre offers standing desks for the restless creative. But not just the standing desk or ergonomic chairs, wow visitors. Apart from a coworking space and meeting rooms spread out over four levels, they also have four different creative studios.
The four studios are equipped with their own music, art, fashion and photography equipment. Plus, the staff can offer technical support for whatever you need. You can choose from podcasting packages, DJ music mixing services, and the list goes on.
So freelance content creators, digital nomads and producers, you'll find all that you need to produce your next big hit.
We love that it's a great place to gather with other creative members and swap ideas! While it's slightly costlier than the average coworking space, it's worth the amount of creative service support rendered.

Best Coworking Space in Bali, Kuta
Parties and sunsets are how most people recognise Kuta. So if you're looking to be in the midst of the party scene, a coworking space in Kuta Bali is it. We like this region compared to the rest of Bali because it's a lively, dynamic environment. Also, most coworking spaces are near Kuta Beach. This means that everything you need, such as supermarkets and cafes, is also nearby.
The beach area is also a surfer's spot, so plenty of people come here to learn how to surf, soak up the sun and socialise. As an estimate, the coworking space in Kuta averages around 10 USD per day. We recommend trying GoWork if you want a bright, spacious place for remote working. It's our favourite as working in there makes us feel more productive.
GoWork
GoWork is one of top Indonesia's coworking space businesses. Its spacious, well-lit office in Kuta is located in a mall, so you're conveniently situated next to shops. We especially like that the interior is so bright and cheerful, thanks to the combination of yellow walls, wide open windows and modern furniture.
The place has amenities such as comfortable lounge areas with hanging chairs and a conference room for seminars. In addition, you can book a dedicated private office at monthly rates or just a hot desk daily anywhere in its main office.
The single-seat booths are cleverly designed to give freelancers privacy while sharing a table. It also has solo phone booths if you need to take private calls in the central area. Wifi, coffee, and fruit-infused water are available.
Although this shared working spot is within a mall, it is relatively quiet. Our tip is to choose this affordable coworking space if you want to be near other F&B options. The mall offers plenty of dining choices and a supermarket. You can also catch the latest Hollywood blockbuster at the movie theatre.

Bali Bustle
This air-conditioned Bali coworking space is located in the centre of Kuta. However, you do need to walk a few minutes to get to other places in town. Compared to other coworking spaces, it's also very minimalist.
Step into the area and see long functional tables with power outlets and chairs. The interior is barely decorated, with cosy sofa seats at the side. Some amenities include a small pool, great for beating the heat, a rooftop gym and garden, and a beanbag corner for naps.
This is not a place you go for your Instagram selfies. The pared-down simplicity screams productivity at you. But we also like the fact that this attracts a serious work community.
There are also service apartments owned by the same company if you need a place to stay and a yoga studio in-house. As a standard, they provide wifi, coffee and water. You can choose between getting a day pass and a monthly membership package. So if you like a quiet, no-frill place that is open 24 hours daily, this is one of the best coworking spaces in Bali.

Colabo
For those who want to find a coworking space not too far from the airport, Colabo should be your go-to. It is a less crowded space just 20 minutes away by car. You will find it situated atop Jimbaran Hill, near pristine beaches.
The coworking space has an indoor and outdoor area. Unfortunately, you will need to get there early as it's very popular. Its indoor area seats sixteen persons, with expansive glass-top tables and bamboo chairs. You can also hot desk at the semi-outdoor area, which overlooks Tegal Wangi Beach and the Indian Ocean.
If you need to organise meetings, a meeting room is available. You can also rent a private Skype room too. There are also yoga and Zumba classes available onsite. It's a small space compared to the other shared working areas we've mentioned, but free coffee and water are available.
Colabo also hosts movies at the Terrace Courtyard, which can seat up to 200 people. However, their pricing package does not include wifi connection, although it does include semi-access to its printing facilities.

Best Coworking Space in Bali, Seminyak
Seminyak is north of Kuta but is the quieter, cooler cousin. Many international businesses have made Seminyak their home. So you can expect to see luxury hotels, high-end shopping and 5-star restaurants here catering to the expat community.
We like Seminyak for its poshness. If you go to Seminyak and Petitenget beaches, you'll see many fancy bars. It's perfect for getting a tan while facing the Indian Ocean shoreline.
Over here, the coworking spaces are slightly more expensive and can go as high as 20 USD daily if you visit the working areas inside hotels. That's why a Bali coworking space like Biliq, which charges per minute, is our favourite.
It allows budget-conscious travellers (like us) to plan their expenses so they can still stay in Seminyak and work without busting their budget.
Biliq
Biliq has indoor and outdoor coworking spaces at two outlets in Seminyak. Its indoor space has communal desks and standing desks set closely together, creating an inviting, warm atmosphere. But it's the outdoor area that has us marvelling.
The outdoor pool is a dipping pool with laptop stands, so you can sit bare feet in the pool while you work! If that's not attractive, perch on the multi-level park bench beside the pool instead. There are also air-conditioning meeting rooms and soundproof Skype rooms for meetings.
If you're feeling tired, curl up in its indoor napping rooms. Biliq charges by the minute, so if you want to make your money count, this is the place for you. High-speed wifi, free-flow coffee and water are available whether you're on a day pass, monthly or annual package.
If you're here, we recommend ordering one of its delicious smoothie bowls at the cafe onsite.

KE{M}BALI
KE{M} Bali is touted as a creative hub, so it hosts mentoring sessions with senior executives and even interactive problem-solving sessions. These events are meant to stretch your potential, which is essential even for digital nomads working independently! The air-conditioned indoor working space comes well-equipped with video call booths, charging stations and meeting rooms.
Plus, printing and scanning facilities are also available. You can also heat your food at the shared pantry, with a microwave, free flow water, coffee and tea. There are lockers available onsite, and the place is also relatively affordable.
We think this is a good choice for digital nomads who need a more corporate setup or for startups that need formal meeting setups with potential investors.

Best Coworking Space in Denpasar, Bali
Denpasar is the capital of Bali. It is the main gateway to the island, and it connects other cities in the Lesser Sunda islands. It is considered a hub of business and politics, where the Bali provincial governor's office is located. Many of its important buildings are built with touches of traditional Balinese architecture style, and historical monuments are scattered around the city.
However, it's not known for tourism since most tourists would hop onto a taxi ride from the city to get to other popular holiday destinations. For instance, you can get to Canggu in 20 minutes or Ubud in less than an hour. But it does offer sandy beaches at Sanur and Serangan islands, as well as plenty of sightseeing with its ancient temples and bustling markets.
For us, we like going to a coworking space in Bali Denpasar since it's quieter than your usual tourist towns, and prices are also more affordable, averaging around $5 daily. An excellent choice is Renon Landmark, which offers a full suite of business services at very affordable rates. It’s also conveniently located near Renon Square, a park with several nearby malls.
Renon Landmark
Renon Landmark is in the heart of Denpasar. It offers fully equipped offices where you can either book a hot desk or an entire business meeting room with a capacity of up to 120 persons. If you’re a budding entrepreneur looking to set up a business in Bali and need a business address, then Renon Landmark has a solution for you. You can incorporate your company and register the co-working space as a virtual office. Besides that, their front desk reception can help you receive guests, take calls and forward your mail to any address. There are also business permit experts to help you sort out business registration.
The offices are located in a posh-looking building, and its interior is designed in the same style. Carpeted floors, abstract paintings on the walls, and solid wood furniture remind us of a legal firm. We think this is one of the best choices for any entrepreneur who might require a more formal set-up, or even an established company that is looking to relocate to Bali but has not found a permanent location. You can rent the entire building or separate offices.
Need to let your hair down? There is also an outdoor terrace and a rooftop if you need to host informal staff gatherings. The place is complete with other amenities such as a fully staffed reception, a pantry with light refreshments, Wifi and printing facilities.

Best Coworking Space in Ubud
Some of the best places for a Bali coworking space are in Ubud. Since it's known as an art and culture capital, there are many things to do in Ubud. It is an excellent place to stay and work if you want to immerse yourself in the scene entirely and slowly explore the town.
For example, one can watch traditional performances such as the Legong Balinese dance at the Ubud Town Centre and the Royal Palace. Or you can travel to its scenic rice paddies, such as the Tegalalang Rice Terrace. You can even hike beautiful Mount Batur if you are up to it.
So, working in Ubud will allow you to tour the best of Bali while still being productive. Our favourite coworking space here is BeLuna Coworking, as it's within the rice paddies. It was such a nice change from being near the beaches. However, the price of coworking spaces in Ubud is higher than in other cities, averaging 20 USD daily.
As it is pricer, we recommend taking a day trip to Ubud to experience the place before setting up base there. While you're there, make sure you visit some of the best cafes in Ubud. You'll be surprised to see how laptop-friendly some of the coffee shops are.
Outpost
Outpost describes itself as "the coworking space Google would create if they opened in Bali". With such a bold claim, it's nice to see that our expectations for Outpost match reality.
Outpost has all the amenities you'll need in a coworking space: lush outdoor gardens and its air-conditioned indoor hub interior boasts high ceilings and long communal tables, accompanied by floor-to-ceiling windows.
There are also standing desks available. In addition, private offices, workshop rooms, video call booths and brand-new podcast rooms are available for those who need them.
Outpost even has an onsite masseuse and a villa pool for those who need to relax. Complimentary water, coffee and tea, and high-speed wifi are available. This is one of the best coworking spaces in Bali if you want to meet fellow digital nomads. In addition, the space is very active in planning community gatherings and outdoor excursions.
Pro tip: Book two months earlier to get a 20% discount.

BeLuna
This open-plan coworking space in Bali is built right amidst the rice paddies of Sok Wayah. It offers an airy, sheltered space with large communal tables and few distractions so digital nomads can work in peace.
The owners aim to create a cafe-like atmosphere without distractions, so you'll find the cafe coworking space designed with multitasking areas, such as windows that double up as whiteboards. There are also private desks and window seats for those who need privacy.
Apart from that, the place also has lounging hammocks and cosy sofa chairs for a quick nap. There is also a real onsite cafe that sells coffee and a fairly extensive menu of healthy meals.
One of the best features of Beluna Coworking is its podcast recording studio. It is equipped with the finest recording technology so that you can record your podcast or voice-over without any background noise.
This might be one of the most out-of-way coworking spaces in Bali. However, it's only a 7 minutes walk from the centre of Ubud. To find Sok Wayah, look for the signposts and follow them.

Hubud
Hubud coworking space in Bali, Indonesia, is temporarily closed. However, we hope business resumes soon. This place is conveniently situated beside the Ubud Monkey Forest, so it's super easy to find. The space is built entirely in bamboo, which will enthral the environmentalists.
Apart from hot desking at the communal tables, you can also rent its meeting rooms and phone booths. There's an outdoor social space if you are up to socialising, or you can always search for its cleverly built private nooks for more seclusion.
There are also two food outlets onsite, although these are also closed for now. When it was open, Hubud attracted a young, dynamic crowd of techies and creatives who came here to work and socialise. They have also merged with Dojo (Canggu). So if you have a monthly membership, you can use it here.

Best Coworking Space in Uluwatu
If you head to the south of Bali, you will reach Uluwatu. The region is famous for its clifftop views and sandy beaches. You'll find the most iconic temples and several surf spots to catch the waves here. There are also cultural performances at Uluwatu Temple or the Garuda Wisnu Kencana Cultural Park in Jimbaran.
As Uluwatu is further away from the social scene, few digital nomads prefer to co-work here. But we do recommend it if you want to find a place to focus with fewer social distractions.
Also, because it's further away from the central, prices here can go as low as 5 USD daily for smaller coworking spaces. Our favourite here is the luxurious Istana. While it's not the cheapest, the resort-style coworking space is our choice.
Working here gives you access to many of its high-tech health amenities. So, check out the Istana if you want to treat yourself after you clinch that major client or promotion.
The Istana
The Istana is a meditation retreat with a coworking space onsite. They focus on meditation, yoga, breathwork classes, and modern relaxation facilitations. They take it a step further and even offer cryotherapy, sensory deprivation tanks, infrared saunas, and hyperbaric chambers. We didn't try these services out, but this is where we'd go to regain our health.
The outdoor coworking space overlooks the ocean, the perfect view for inspiring creativity. Its indoor furnishing is also equally dapper. Mahogany tables come with comfy white reclining chairs, a sleek look which business executives will appreciate.
We recommend that digital nomads who come here take advantage of the spa facilities included in the day pass or monthly packages. Wifi, free coffee and tea, as well as discounts for its onsite services, are included in the cost.
You can get a day pass or monthly or annual membership here. For those who want an elite getaway, this is one of the best coworking spaces in Bali.

Co.op Coworking
Co.op is a productive hub in Uluwatu for young professionals, digital nomads and entrepreneurs looking for a balanced lifestyle. Their motto is "Optimise your office performance". We think it describes this spacious Bali coworking space pretty well.
The indoor area has a unique setup with communal tables, floor-to-ceiling windows, and high-backed chairs. We found this gives you a lot of privacy for solopreneurs even if you don't get a private booth since you're only sharing with three other persons.
The place is equipped with fresh coffee, speedy wifi, and air-con. You also get some cool add-ons like blue light filter glasses and leg raisers, comfy chairs, timers and a library. The space also has soundproof booths for video calls or recordings and spacious private offices for small groups.
Co.op hosts engaging workshops and social nights such as crypto exchange at its canteen. There are also weekly evening meet-ups and morning meditation circles. You can get a day pass or monthly or annual membership here.

Best Coworking Space in Sanur
Sanur is not a tourist destination since most people bypass it to the Nusa Islands in Bali. But apart from just being a ferry port to the islands, Sanur offers a calm retreat.
It's different from the hustle and bustle of Ubud or Kuta, as you will find few people visiting here. There is a 5 km long sandy white beach with a walking pavement and plenty of budget-friendly accommodations along the stretch.
Choose Sanur if you want quieter coworking spaces. The prices are also relatively more affordable compared to Kuta, Canggu or even Ubud. We think Livit Hub is one of the best coworking spaces in Sanur since it's just minutes away from the beach. You can log off from work and take a short walk to the beach anytime you want to if you work at Livit.
Livit Hub Bali
Being based only minutes away from the beach is one of the many perks Livit offers. At this coworking space in Bali, you can choose to work indoors, in the cafe, or on the rooftop. The rooftop view is some of the most unique we've seen. It is decked with oversized white sofa chairs where one can lounge while gazing up at magnificent views of Sanur and Mount Agung.
Its indoor air-conditioned area offers hammock chairs and communal tables. There are also Skype and meeting rooms for rent. You can get a day pass, monthly or annual membership here, giving you free meals and laundry services. We suggest you head for the rooftop spaces in the evening because the view of the stars at night is amazing!

A pass here will give you access to its workspace, high-speed wifi, private video-call booth and meeting rooms. You'll also get free snacks and coffee and access to workshops, skill-sharing sessions and social-hour events.
While plenty of cafes are nearby, you should check out its Kopi Kultur coffee house and an in-house concept store selling local designer products. The coffeehouse is where the vibrant arts scene with entrepreneurs, freelancers, and startup teams gather. So, you might make some great connections here! You can get a day pass or monthly or annual membership here.

Our favourite coworking space in Bali
Having worked in these areas, the Ubud region offers the best coworking space in Bali. Ubud has a lot to see and do, so you can always enjoy various activities if you are there. Yet it's less party-centric than Kuta, offers more culture than Canggu and is not as expensive as Seminyak.
With many choices for coworking spaces around, you can choose whichever one suits your budget.
We hope you have enjoyed this list, where you can find some of the best coworking spaces in Bali. If you prefer working in coffee shops in Bali, check out our other articles.
